Status: Phd researcher

Pieter Dudal holds a master degree in sociology (2014, Ghent University). He graduated in the field of health and demographic sociology and focused on anti-immigration attitudes from a comparative perspective for his master thesis.

Currently, he is a PhD candidate and is working on a project funded by the Research Foundation Flanders (FWO).The aim of his research is to explore, from a macro-sociological point of view, the relationship between the expansion of higher, labor market processes and how these are related to the mental health and subjective well-being of the European population. Additionally, an emphasis will be placed on educational inequalities in mental health. This research project will be conducted under supervision of Prof. Dr. Piet Bracke
